Joy Ferch

Joy G. Ferch, 79, Green Lake, died June 5, 1998, at Ripon Medical Center following a short but courageous battle with heart disease.
Joy was born December 26, 1918, in Fond du Lac County, a daughter to Sidney and Fern (Howard) Phillips. She was a graduate of Green Lake High School. On October 19, 1937 she married Canton W. Ferch at Pilgrim Camp in Green Lake. They made their home in West Rosendale and moved to Green Lake 30 years ago. For 25 years, Joy was a seamstress at Admanco in Ripon. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Green Lake. She enjoyed activities with the Ladies Aid of the church, the Green Lake Senior Citizens and the 25-year Club at Admanco. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Survivors include 2 daughters, Carolee (Earl) Floyd of Ripon and Marsyl (Dale) Kunkle of Rosendale; 4 grandchildren, Michael (Shari) Floyd of Ripon, Denise (Mark) Eberhart of Ripon, Ann (Kemp) Jones of Platteville and Susan (Tim) Zima of Oshkosh; 4 great-grandchildren, Chloe and Lucas Eberhart, Lindsay Floyd, and Riley Jones; I sister, Faye Ebert of Green Lake; sister-in-law, Marie Phillips of New Jersey and brother-in-law, DuWayne (Marion) Ferch of Montello; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on April 27, 1995, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Friends may call Sunday, June 7, 1998, from 4 until 7 PM at the Butzin-Marchant
Funeral Home in Ripon, and Monday from 10 AM until the time of the services at Peace
Lutheran Church in Green Lake.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 8,1998, at the church with the Reverend Rodney Dietsche officiating. Interment will follow in Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale.
