Joyce Brink, 59, of Ripon, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, May 28, 2001, at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton.
She was born April 30, 1942, in Waupun, a daughter to John and La Verne (Willemsen) Kuik. She was a graduate of Waupun High School. On May 27, 1967, she married David Brink. Joyce had been a hostess at Braun’s Family Restaurant, and later at Geri’s Family Restaurant for 14 years. Mrs. Brink was a member of the Ripon Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Brink of Ripon; 1 son, Richard (Colleen) of MN; 1 daughter, Arnie of Libertyville, IL; 6 grandchildren; 1 “granddogger”, Gladys Matilda; 1 brother, Jim (Phyllis) Kuik of Brandon; 2 sisters, Delores (David) Pluim of Waupun and Joan (Henry) Bruins of Lexington, KY; and 1 aunt, Josephine Heideman of Waupun. Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral service for Joyce will be Thursday, May 31, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Ripon Assembly of God with the Rev. Donald Deike officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and again on Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
