Joyce I. Zech, age 87, of Brandon, WI, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, WI, with family at her side.
Joyce was born February 9, 1928, the daughter of Earl and Lora (Bradley) Whitney. She married David Zech on July 15, 1949. Joyce was a homemaker and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Ladoga. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid at church.
Survivors include her sons, Darrell D. Zech of Brandon, WI, Douglas Zech and special friend Donna of Fond du Lac, WI, Bernard (Lois) Zech of Waupun, WI, Ricky (Rose) of Fond du Lac, WI, and daughter, Barbara (Steven) Ballard of Rosendale, WI; grandchildren, Cory, Shannon, Tonya, Cara, Nicki, Jenny, Stephanie Zech, Stacy Mertens, Angela and Adam Ballard, and Lora Kohler along with 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandson, Braxton Burgeron. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, David, daughter, Beverly, son, Charles, a great great granddaughter, Brooke Zech and one sister, Lucille Zackowski.
Visitation for Joyce I. Zech will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015, from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial Service for Joyce I Zech will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses Roger I. Kemnitz officiating. Inurnment will be at Wedges Prairie Cemetery, Town of Waupun, Ladoga, Fond du Lac County. A memorial is being established.
