Joyce Voight, age 74, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI.
Joyce was born on July 30, 1936, in Waupaca, WI, the daughter of Gaylord and Ruby (Rice) Johnson. She graduated from Waupaca High School and in 1955; Joyce married Melvin Voight in Oshkosh, WI. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Doreen Voight of Ripon, WI and Rhonda (Terry) Sell of Ripon, WI; two sons, Gary (Christine) Voight of Ripon, WI and James (Andrea) Voight of West Virginia; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother, Jerry Johnson of WI; sister, Karen Miller of Oshkosh, WI and nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janet Murphy and a brother, Rolin.
Visitation for Joyce Voight will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, from
2 – 5:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
Per Joyce’s wishes there will not be a funeral service.
A memorial is being established in her name.
