Mrs. Joyce T. Wichman, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 1991, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1907, in Menomonie, WI, a daughter of Claire and Alice (Graves) Bird. She was educated in Waupun and spent most of her years as a housewife. She has resided in Ripon since 1925. On August 17, 1925, she married Herbert Wichman. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1962. Mrs. Wichman was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, the Mary Martha Circle and the Christian Fellowship Class.
Survivors include three sons, William (Andrea) of Ripon, WI, Lester (Carol) of Oshkosh, WI and DuWayne (Rose) of Ripon; two daughters, Marion (Clayton, deceased) Kreger of Floyd, Iowa and Mabel (Elmer) Kreger of Charles City, Iowa; 28 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters.
Visitation for Joyce will be held on Thursday, February 21, 1991, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Joyce will be held on Friday, February 22, 1991, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Robert LeCount will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
