Juan “Kiwy” E. Hernandez Jr., age 24, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2015, at his home.
Kiwy was born March 21, 1991, in Clinton, OK, the son of Juan E. Hernandez Sr. and Norma (Acevedo) Sanchez. He attended Ripon High School. Kiwy cherished spending time his family and he was a wonderful father. He was the clown of the house, always playing jokes on his family.
Survivors include his mother, Norma (Juan) Sanchez of Ripon, WI; father, Juan Hernandez Sr. of Mexico; mother of his children, Jessica Morse of Fond du Lac, WI; two children, Jayn Katherine and Jayden Hernandez both of Fond du Lac, WI; two sisters, Mireya and Mercedez Hernandez both of Ripon, WI; maternal grandmother, Norma Acevedo of Ripon, WI; maternal grandfather, Juan Cedillo of Texas; paternal grandmother, Velia Hernandez of Mexico; two aunts, Sonia Cedillo of Fond du Lac, WI and Maria Hernandez of Oklahoma; two uncles, Joe Hernandez of Texas and Jorge (Tina) Sena of Minnesota and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Juan was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Juana Costilla.
Visitation for Kiwy will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 9 – 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Kiwy will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established in his name.
