Nita Dodge, born Dec. 4, 1951 was called on June 26, 2011 by the Great Spirit to join her ancestors and other loved ones already on the path to sacred purpose. Tragically preceded in death by Terra Dodge on Feb. 27, 2011, Nita was unable to overcome the loss of her only child and gradually died from an irreparably broken heart.
Nita is survived by an only grandson, Cameron Chase Dodge, age 10; an older brother, James Mustache(Cudahy); and a younger sister, Sheila Ann Moose (Hayward); as well as many friends and kindred spirits. Although their physical bodies have departed and are returned to Mother Earth, as in life, Nita and Terra in spirit are once again united.
There will be two memorial services to assist their spirits on their journey in the afterlife as they merge with the collective consciousness that will touch each of us intuitively when most needed. A traditional memorial service will be performed very soon in Hayward, Wis. by her tribe, the Lac Du Flambeau Band of the Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) Band of Lake Superior Chippewa (Ojibwa) Nation. Additionally, at a later date, there will be a service in Green Lake to honor Nitas wishes to forever be a part of the Green Lake area she loved so dearly and chose to call her home.
All are welcome to attend either or both services. For information on the specifics, please contact Peter @ 920-290-1265 or Todd @ 920-229-1260. todd@glasscc.info .
Rest in Peace and walk your path in a sacred manner dear friend.
