Judith Ann Dix, age 66, of Ripon, WI, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Judy was born February 13, 1949, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Harriet (Santi) Dix. She graduated from St. John’s Cathedral High School in Milwaukee. After graduation, she worked and traveled for Levitz Furniture for 25 years. In 1993, Judy moved to Ripon, working for Menasha Corporation until her retirement. She was a fabulous cook and when she wasn’t cooking she was watching the Food Network on television. Judy also enjoyed watching QVC, HSN, Fox News and her favorite football teams, the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints. Judy was immensely passionate about traveling as well.
Survivors include her siblings, Sharon (Jerry Engevik) Smukowski of Wausau, WI, Pam Stevenson of Ripon, WI, Richard (Susan) Dix of Milwaukee, WI, John (Tanya Raub) Dix of Wautoma, WI, and Jim (Jane) Dix of Wild Rose, WI; nieces and nephews, Gina (Nick Switalski) Smukowski, Dan (Tamara) Stevenson, Lori (Skip Altwies) Hodge, Crystal (Adam) Urbanski, Angie (Jay) Nitz, Allen Dix, Alec Dix, Drew Dix, Maya Dix and Ralissa Dix. Judy is further survived by many great nieces and nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Vern Stevenson.
Visitation for Judy will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015, from 1 – 3:30 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Prayer Service for Judith Ann Dix will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Father William Whalen will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Wautoma, WI. A memorial is being established.
