Judith Mary Ebel, age 54, a 35-year survivor of Multiple Sclerosis, died Monday evening, April 23, 2001, at her home in Oshkosh.
She was born June 8, 1946, in Fond du Lac, a daughter to Arthur and Luella (Brunet) Larsen. She graduated from Lourdes in Oshkosh and on September 25, 1965, she married Larry Ebel. Judith was a homemaker, and at one time had been teller at the Oshkosh National Bank. Mrs. Ebel was a member of St. Peters church of Oshkosh and lived in Oshkosh most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Larry; one daughter, Dawn (Christopher) Deringer of Oshkosh; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Kimberly; two sisters, Gloria (Victor) Bauer of Oshkosh and Carol (Ervin) Sobojinski of Oshkosh; one brother, Robert (Tamera) Larsen of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews; Murphy the family dog and her Hospice nurses. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Larsen.
A memorial service for Judith Mary Ebel will be held Friday, April 27, 2001, at 2 pm at St. Peters Church in Oshkosh with Father John Becker officiating. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. Memorials may be given in her name to either Multiple Sclerosis or Hospice.
