Julie E. Schmuhl, age 87, of Ripon, WI, died Sunday, January 12, 1997, at Parkview Care Center.
She was born October 14, 1909, in Ripon. The daughter to Gustav and Anna (Dolski) Kehl. Julie attended school in Ripon and she was a homemaker all her life. On September 22, 1931, she married Elmer Schmuhl. Julia was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Ripon has been her home since 1970. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer and two brothers.
Julie is survived by three sons, Don (Hazel) Schmuhl of Brandon, Earl (Christina) Schmuhl of Brandon and Gordon Schmuhl of California; one brother, Roman (Margaret) Kehl of Green Lake; three sisters, Gertrude Riviers of Brandon, Leona Slovenski of Redgranite, Agnus Frisinger of Ripon; seven grandchildren, Kurt (Arlene) Schmuhl of Oshkosh, Jeff Schmuhl of Fond du Lac, Kevin (Robin) Schmuhl of Brandon, Todd (Karla) Schmuhl of Brandon, Steve (Gail) Schmuhl of Fond du Lac, Sue Stone of Beaver Dam, Don Schmuhl Jr. (Mary Beth) of Fond du Lac and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 16, 1997, at 11:00 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon with Reverend William L. Toelle officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ripon.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 15, 1997, from 5 – 6:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 6:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
