Julia E. Wells, age 92, of 541 Hill St, Green Lake, passed away Wednesday morning, August 31, 2005 at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born at Center House, Town of Green Lake, on December 2, 1912, the daughter to Edward I. and Julia (Busse) Kimble. She was educated in Green Lake. Julia married Lynn E. Wells on February 13, 1930. She was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake.
Julia is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara (John) Barrows, Green Lake and Marlene (John) Kaatz, Madison; 2 sons, Lynn (Linda L.) Wells, Jr. and Edward (Linda J.) Wells, both of Green Lake; 15 grandchildren, John T. (Cindy) Barrows. Jr., Racine, Thomas (Cindy) Barrows, Waukesha, Debra Schweitzer, Franklin, WI, Mark (Lisa) Barrows, Racine, Patrick (Christine) Barrows, Elgin, OR, William (Wendy) Barrows, Salem, OR, Mary (Russell) Klingaman, Brookfield, WI, John (Kathy) Kaatz, Jr., Madison, Alynn (Trudi) Kaatz, Madison, Lee (Bonnie) Wells, Neshkoro, Lisa Wells, Madison, Joseph (Melanie) Wells, Madison, Craig Wells, Madison, Julie (Jeremy) Henze, Baraboo, and Angela (Jim) Wells, Green Lake; 31 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Funeral service for Julia E. Wells will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2005 at the Federated Church of Green Lake with the Rev. Karen Gygax-Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A memorial has been established for the Federated Church of Green Lake.
