Julie Kay Ninnemann, age 57, of Neenah, WI, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Theda Clark Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Julie was born January 13, 1958, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Orice and Mary Kay (Hobbs) Hammen. She graduated from Ripon High School and went on to receive a bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse. On August 22, 1981, Julie married David Ninnemann in Ripon at Our Saviours United Church of Christ. Julie cherished every moment with her beloved family. Her greatest joy was being a mother and raising her children, Adam and Jenny. She was known for her wonderful smile, contagious laughter, warm welcoming nature and incredible strength. She enjoyed watching the Packers and was their number one fan. Julie was deeply loved by her husband and children and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, David Ninnemann of Neenah, WI; daughter, Jennifer (Keith) Haack of Menasha, WI; son, Adam Ninnemann (Matt Kaltenberg) of Madison, WI; mother, Mary Hammen of Ripon, WI, and sisters, Kathleen Ryan and Holly Clarke both of Ripon and Peggy (David) Monte of Waunakee, WI; aunts, Betty Marx of Fond du Lac, WI and Maxine (Arlyn) Klingbeil of Sheboygan Falls, WI, uncle, Martin Hammen of Ripon, WI; brother-in-law, William Ninnemann of North Carolina and sister-in-law, Sheri Ninnemann of Tampa, FL. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Orice Hammen; maternal grandparents, Henry and Laura Hobbs and her paternal grandparents, Louis and Alvina Hammen; father and mother-in-law, William and Beverly Ninnemann and brothers-in-law, John Ninnemann, Mike Ninnemann, and Jay Clarke.
Visitation for Julie Kay Ninnemann will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015, from 10 12:00 p.m. at Our Saviors United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
A Celebration of Julies Life will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at Our Saviors United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in the City of Ripon. Donations may be directed to The Fox Valley Brain Tumor Coalition, FVBTC 5320 West Michaels Drive, Appleton, WI 54913.
