Julie Lameer

Julie A. LaMeer, age 69, of Princeton, WI, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh with family by her side.

Julie was born January 26, 1946, in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Robert and Marilyn (Walker) Babel. She graduated from Union Grove High School. Julie went on to become a Social Worker and was the Activity Director for Sunnyview Health Rehab Center. She married Daniel R. LaMeer on August 21, 1964. Julie was a member of the Girl Scouts and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was an avid reader, a huge Packer fan, she loved crafts, camping, the casino, boating, traveling, was an EBay seller. Julie loved her family and life and always treated everyone like family. She was full of wisdom and one of the strongest people you could ever know. Even through the last year and a half with her battle with cancer, Julie never gave up once and remained positive.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel R. LaMeer; son, Daniel (Brandy) LaMeer Jr.; daughters, Debra LaMeer (Mark), Daphne J. (Jahbbar) Farr, and Chandra LaMeer (Walter); grandchildren and great grandchildren, Todd Kaping (Kim), Matt Farr (Brittani), Alexandra Farr (Tony), Tanner Meehan (Layla), Heidi Lueck (Brad), Kelli Lueck (Jake), Cheyenne Grohal, Katelyn Grohal, Bailee Grohal, Kobe LaMeer, Marcus LaMeer, Brody LaMeer, and Kaydence Lueck, Kaitlyn Phelps all of Princeton, WI; other grandchildren include; Ava Culver, Abigale and Rueben Hall, Mackenzie and Mason Kaping, Brady Huck, Uniqua and Brianna Madison, Deangela Chapel, Bernard, Terryon and Deangelo Thomas and Chandra Phelps; parents, Robert and Marilyn Babel of Franklin, WI; brother, Robert (Linda) Babel Jr. of Heartland, WI, and sister, Sherrie (Jim) Gresk of Caledonia, WI. Julie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents; brother in-law, Dion and special grandsons, Micheal D. Farr and Tiny Terry.

Visitation for Julie A. LaMeer will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from 4 – 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, April 9, 2015, from 1 – 2:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Memorial Service for Julie A. LaMeer will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Gary Zacharias will officiate. A memorial is being established.
