Julius A. Quast, age 86, of Ripon, WI passed away on Thursday, May 3, 1951 at his home in Ripon.
Julius was born in Princeton, WI on December 18, 1864, the son of William and Rosa (Rimpler) Quast. He was educated at St. John Parochial School and resided in Princeton, WI and Ripon for 41 years. On November 14, 1889 he married Pauline Berndt in Princeton. Julius was a farmer all his life.
Julius is survived by his wife, Pauline Quast; one son, Edwin Quast; three daughters, Mrs. John Wood, Mrs. Elmer Liptow, and Mrs. Lawrence Siewert all of Ripon, WI; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rosa Quast; three brothers; and three sisters.
Visitation for Julius will be held from 12:00 pm on Friday, May 4, 1951 until 10:30 am on Monday, May 7, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 1951 at Scott Street Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Julius will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 1951 at Scott Street Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
