June Anna Brown, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Maplecrest in Ripon.
June was born June 10, 1932, in Ripon, the daughter of Herman and Florence (Gatzke) Berndt. She graduated from Ripon High School. June married Leslie Brown December 4, 1954, at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Ripon VFW Auxillary.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey (Jane) Brown; grandsons, Daniel, David, and Brian Brown all of Oakfield, WI, and brother, Melvin Berndt of Ripon. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Florence; husband, Leslie, and her brothers, Earl, Lawrence, and Gilbert Berndt.
Visitation for June Anna Brown will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, from 9 – 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for June Anna Brown will be held on June 27, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Wes Wassell will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the City of Ripon. A memorial is being established.
