June Lucille Behnke (nee Giese), 77, of 1002 Thomas St, Ripon, passed away Monday night, December 12, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
She was born September 20, 1928, in Menominee, MI, the daughter of Lloyd and Lucille (Noll) Giese. June graduated from high school in Menominee. On July 1, 1950, she married Jerome Behnke. She was a homemaker, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Behnke of Ripon and Raymond (Denise) Behnke of Campbellsport; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Tiffany and R.J. Behnke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lucille Giese; and her husband, Jerome
Behnke.
Funeral service for June Behnke will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Rev. Alan F. Schaffmeyer officiating. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home, and again on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette. Memorials may be given in her name to the American Cancer Society, Midwest Division, 3311 S Packerland Dr, DePere, WI 54115 or the Ripon United Way, PO Box 71, Ripon, WI 54971.
