June Karen Powers, 35, 510 Van Dyke, Ripon, died Friday, May 6, 1988, at North Fond du Lac, WI.
She was born August 17, 1952, in Detroit, MI, to Willard and Bertha (Zich) Siegman. She was educated in Dearborn, MI, and was a graduate of Western Michigan University and received a masters degree from Eastern Michigan at Ypsilanti, MI.
She married James Powers on December 19, 1981, in Trenton, MI. She was a teacher and a housewife. She resided in Ripon the last two years.
Survivors include her husband, James; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Siegman of Dearborn, MI; one daughter, Katherine at home; one brother, Gary Siegman of Chicago.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 10, 1988, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Robert B. LeCount will officiate. Burial will be in the Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon.
Friends may call from 3 – 8:00 pm on Monday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
