Juno Hugo Graf, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012, in Ripon from a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Juno was born on June 29, 1929, at the family farm in Garnet, WI, the son of Arno Wilhelm and Lillian Marie (Lindner) Graf. He served our country in the United States Army and on June 19, 1976, Juno married Elaine (Wolf) Malchow. Juno worked for 25 years as a lead man at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Malone, WI and attended Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include his two brothers, Charles Graf of Chilton, WI and Veryl (Janet) Graf of Howards Grove, WI; two sisters, Marlene Emery of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Karen (Dan Walsdorf) Graf of Kiel, WI; step-children, Larry Malchow of Ripon, WI, Dennis (Kay) Malchow of Virginia and Jeff (Lisa) Malchow of Grenada in the Bahamas; two step-brothers and two step-sisters; many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren and his special friend, Elizabeth Rumpel of Ripon, WI. Juno was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elaine in 2006; step-son, Lloyd Malchow and step-granddaughter, Katie Malchow and brother-in-law and best friend, Edward J. Emery.
Per Juno’s wishes there will be no service. Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Malone, WI. Memorials may be directed to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
