Karen Kay Hendricks, age 67, of Ripon, passed away on Saturday evening, February 20, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family in Ripon, WI.
Karen was born on July 4, 1942, in Ripon, the daughter of Earl and Edna (Schneider) Klettke. She graduated Ripon High School and went to school for cosmetology. Karen married Richard Hendricks at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon on August 22, 1964. She was a Jr. Bowling League Coach, in the Ripon Bowling Association and the only woman in Ripon to score a 300.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Richard of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Kim (Terry) Boe of Ripon, WI and Kelly (Dale) Schmuhl of Brandon, WI; grandchildren, Samantha (Adam) Graf of Neenah, WI, Ashleigh (friend Mike) Boe of Ripon, WI, Jordan Boe of Ripon, WI, Taylor Boe of Ripon, WI, Mallory Meyer of Brandon, WI, Zachary Meyer of Brandon, WI, Amanda Schmuhl of Milwaukee, WI, Emily Schmuhl of Waupun, WI, and Carissa Schmuhl of Waupun, WI; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Banks of Ripon, WI, Maren Banks of Ripon, WI, and Urijah Lambert of Ripon, WI; brother, Kenneth Klettke of Ripon, WI; sister, Judy (Terry) Shaffer of Slinger, WI. Karen is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Tamara Linn Klettke.
Visitation for Karen Hendricks will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, from 10 11:00 am at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon.
Memorial Service for Karen Hendricks will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 11:00 am at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon. Reverend Stuart Dornfeld will officiate. A memorial has been established in her name.
