Katherine M. Frederick, age 94, of Markesan, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.
Katherine was born on January 14, 1916, the daughter of Edward and Florence (Reimer) Kubehl. She graduated from Brandon High School in 1934. On June 12, 1943, Katherine married Marland Frederick at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater, WI. She farmed with Marland and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include daughter, Marlene (Dave) Pinnow of Berlin, WI; grandchildren, Dena (Joshua) Saylor of Appleton, WI, April (special friend, Jeremy) Pinnow of Oshkosh, WI and Kimberly (special friend, Dave) Pinnow of Milwaukee, WI; great-grandchild, Dempsey Saylor; sister, Edna (Alfred) Zabel; and sister-in-law, Charlene Frederick. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Marland who passed away on September 18, 1975; sister, Martha (Carroll) Schattschneider and brothers-in-law, Raymond and Warren (Beverly) Frederick.
Visitation for Katherine Frederick will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011, from 9 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Katherine Frederick will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Mark R. West will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairwater Cemetery in the Village of Fairwater. A memorial is being established.
