Kathleen “Kitty” Conroy, age 76, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Markesan Resident Home in Markesan.
Kitty was born on January 25, 1937, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of George and Anna (Marotta) Bacino. She was a 1954 graduate from West Rockford High School and a 1979 graduate from Rockford Business College. Kitty later founded and was President of a marketing research company (Mystery Shoppers LTD) in Chicago for several years. After suffering a stroke in 1986, she moved to Green Lake in 1990, where her daughter Kim attended Ripon College. Kitty was a “costumer” for the Ripon College Theatre Department from 1990 to 1994, a position she dearly loved.
Kitty leaves six children, Miryam Aaron of Los Angeles, CA, Victoria Conn of Larchmont, NY, E. Glenn Silberman of Rockford, IL, Ann-Marie Gallego of Flagstaff, AZ, Steven Silberman (Stanley Hitson) of Bethlehem, GA and Kathleen “Kim” Conroy (Wade Packard) of Los Angeles, CA. Kitty was further survived by twelve grandchildren, George Conn, Hilary Marcacci, James Shriver, Peter Conn, Katie Shriver, Esther Albanese, Rebecca Aaron-Albanese, Victoria Shriver, Jacob Silberman, Adriana Silberman, Christopher Shriver, and Thomas Packard, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor Paul Yoder is officiating. Family inurnment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, City of Green Lake, at a later date. A memorial is being established in her name.
