Kathleen Goggins

Kathleen H. Goggins, age 68, of Ripon, died Sunday, September 13, 1998, at Berlin Memorial Hospital where she donated her eyes to the Wisconsin Lions Eye Bank.

She was born July 13, 1930, in Stockbridge, WI, a daughter to Ben and
Dorothy (Schumacher) Petrie. She attended Stockbridge St. Mary’s Grade
School and graduated from Stockbridge High School. On December 30, 1950,
she married Hugh Goggins at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockbridge.
Kathleen had been a nursing assistant for over 30 years at Winnebago State
Hospital prior to moving to Green Lake 3 years ago. She was a member of Our.
Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, C.C.W., Homemakers and the
Willis-Chapel Auxiliary of Green Lake.

She is survived by I sister, Lucy Schwarz of Green Lake; 3 brothers, Frank (Ann) Petrie of Fremont, CA, David (Joan) Petrie of Sherwood and James (Virginia) Petrie of New Holstein; and I aunt, Polly Cazel of CA. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh in 1994 and her parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 1998, from 4 until 7:30 PM, with a Rosary at 7:30 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, and again on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 16, 1998, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake with the Rev. John R. Dowd officiating. Interment will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Stockbridge. A Memorial has been established.
