Kathryne L. Eaton, age 79, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, January 20, 1986 at her home.
Kathryne was born on May 11, 1906 in Ripon, the daughter of Herbert and Elda (Stelter) Lyle. She was a graduate of Ripon College in 1927 and completed advanced work at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and the State College at Greeley, CO. She also graduated from Fond du Lac College. In 1972 she married Henry Eaton of Green Lake in Port Orange, FL. Kathryne was a teacher in Wisconsin, Wyoming, and a suburb of St. Louis, MO. She was also a secretary to the Superintendent of Ripon schools, and also to the Director of Admissions at Ripon College. Kathryne was a member of Alpha Gamma Theta at Ripon College, a life member of the Dartford Historical Society in Green Lake, WI, a member of the Ripon Historical Society and the First Congregational Church of Ripon, a former member of the Ripon Library Association; the American Association of University Women (Ripon branch), the Educational Club of Ripon, and also of the Friends of the Ripon Public Library.
Kathryne is survived by cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Eaton.
