Kathryne Wetzel

Mrs. Kathryne Faye Wetzel, 72, of 815 Ransom St., Ripon, died Friday, May 12, 1989, at her home.

She was born June 20, 1916, in Green Lake, to Robert Earl and Catherine Crook Walker. On August 24, 1940, she married William Wetzel. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1984.

Mrs. Wetzel was educated in Green Lake. She lived in Green Lake and in Ripon most of her life. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wetzel was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon.

Survivors include two sons, Duane and Duran, both of Ripon; two daughters, Mrs. Stan (Diann) Latacha of Westboro, MA and Mrs. Gordon (Debra) Steels of Appleton; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Walker of Green Lake and Ray Walker of Ripon; and one sister, Doris Wittchow of Markesan. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and one sister.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 16, 1989, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon. The Reverend Robert B. LeCount will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Friends may call today from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.

Mrs. Wetzel enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. She received much joy from her children. Because she cared...her love will always live on in our hearts and minds.
