Keenan James McConnell, age 19, of Green Lake, died May 13, 1999, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1980, in Cody, Wyoming, a son to Gary L. and Cathy J. (Smith) McConnell. He was a 1998, graduate of Green Lake High School and enjoyed baseball, soccer and basketball. He was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Cathy McConnell of Green Lake, 1 brother, Cody L. McConnell and 1 sister, Amber J. McConnell, both at home; maternal grandparents, James and June Smith of Cody, Wyoming and paternal grandmother, Crystal McConnell of Green Lake; aunts and uncles, John & Gail McConnell, Jr. of Green Lake, Jim & Sue McConnell of Ripon, Dennis & Carolyn Smith-Marshall of Newport News, Virginia, and Scott Smith of Cody, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jon McConnell and 1 uncle, James H. Smith.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 15, 1999, from 12 until 3 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Private funeral services for the immediate family will follow with the Rev. Karen Gygax-Rodriguez officiating, Interment will be in Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. A memorial has been established.
