Kenneth W. Garbacz, age 43, of 275 W. John St., Markesan, died Thursday, September 3, 1998, at his home.
He was born April 23, 1955 in Chicago, IL, a son to Peter and Lorraine (Hoffman) Garbacz. He graduated from Addison Trail High School in Addison, IL, and then received 4 years of specialist training to become a licensed stationary engineer for Standard Oil of Indiana. He had lived in Markesan the past 8 years, and was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. Kenneth was an avid fisherman, and had a wonderful sense of humor and a willingness to help others.
He is survived by his parents, Peter & Lorraine Garbacz of Las Vegas, NV; 2 sisters, Diann (Roy) Siewert of Elmhurst, IL and Kathleen (David) Ginder of Markesan; 2 brothers, Ronald Garbacz of Shorewood, IL and Danny (Sandy) Garbacz of McHenry, IL; many nieces and nephews; and aunts & uncles, Frank Garbacz, Mike & Mary Garbacz, Wanda Parker, Robert & Geraldine Grimm, Pat Hoffman, and Jeanette & Harold Noble. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 8, 1998, from 3 until 7:30 PM, with a
Prayer Service at 7:30, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Mass of
Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, September 9, 1998, at 11:00 AM at
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake with the Reverend John R.
Dowd officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A Memorial
has been established.
