Kenneth W. Wells, 86, formerly of Green Lake, died April 19, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
He was born on August 4, 1907, in Waupaca, the son of Miles and Maude Wells. He was educated in Waupaca. In May of 1937, he married Carrie Bartlett. She passed away on September 2, 1982. Ken was an assistant manager of maintenance at Abbott Laboratories of N. Chicago and has lived in Green Lake since his retirement in 1965. He was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake, the Green Lake Lions Club and the Ripon-Green lake Masonic Lodge F&AM #95.
He is survived by one sister, Arleen (Earl) Teifke of Milwaukee; three grandchildren; and one stepson, Ken Ronk of Waukegan, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A Masonic service will be held Thursday at 7 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Kenneth Wells will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 22, 1994, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Kent Meyer will officiate and interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A memorial has been established in his name for the Heart Association.
