Kerry D. Rothman

Kerry David Rothman, 74, passed away 4th of October 2024 in Omro, WI. 

Kerry was born 18th of October, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Jerome Adolph Rothman and Mildred Esther Rothman (Herskowitz). While his primary career was as a biodmedical engineer for Perkin-Elmer in California, he dedicated his later years to tutoring adults attaining their GEDs; his specialty was math. He had an innate ability to make complex concepts feel relatable and understandable. He lived in the Midwest and the Bay Area of California over the course of his life, but traveled extensively. As a younger man, he traveled the world with his job, to Russia, Israel, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. Even as he aged, he continued to drive all over the country with his schnauzers, while teaching his daughters to find local delicacies and sing along to the oldies. He loved Star Trek, barbecue, backgammon with his best friend Tim, and learning new things. 

He is survived by his daughters, Danielle Rothman (Vic Elder) and Shelly Rothman (Jorg Diekmann); and his granddaughter, Ramona Rothman.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Lee Rothman.

No formal funeral services will be held.
