Laura M. Miller, age 88, Ripon, passed away Tuesday morning, January 22, 2002, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born November 5, 1913, in the Town of Nepeuskun, a daughter to Adolph and Augusta (Falk) Anklam. She attended Pickett School. On June 26, 1937, she married Louis Albert Miller in Pickett. As well as being a housewife and raising her children, Laura had been a cleaning lady for 20 years at Ripon College’s ohnson Hall. Mrs. Miller was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon.
Survivors include her 3 daughters, Patricia (John) Arenz of Marquette, Carol (Bernard) Perr of Ripon and Sandra “Sandi” Petermann of Fond du Lac; 8 grandchildren, Sharon, Tricia, Matthew, Lori, Larry, Lisa, Joey, and Jeff; and 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchlidren. She was preceded in death by her husband August 4, 1985; parents; 7 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Funeral services for Laura M. Miller will be at 2 p.m. January 24, 2002, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Town of Utica.
