Laura Welk, age 90, of Ripon, passed away on September 19, 1987, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Laura was born on September 14, 1897, in Marshfield, the daughter of Fred and Ernestine (Rieman) Lueck. She attended Ripon schools. Laura married Franklin Welk on October 27, 1928. She was a sales clerk at a clothing store. Laura was a member of Immanuel church and was an organist for 50 years, and a past Sunday school teacher.
Visitation for Laura will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, on Monday, September 21, 1987, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Laura will be at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, September 22, 1987, at Immanuel Methodist Church in Ripon, with Reverend Robert LeCant officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
