Lauree A. Renaud, age 61, of Green Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI.
Lauree was born on September 26, 1956 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of John and Shirley (Haralson) Petree. She attended West Aurora High School and also Rosary High School in Aurora. Lauree went on to attend the University of St. Paul, MN, where she earned her Bachelor Degree in teaching. In May of 1985 she married Paul Renaud in Aurora. She was an avid bike rider and was President of the Green Lake Greenways, a trail organization dedicated to the development and preservation of trails and greenways in the Green Lake area.
Lauree is survived by her husband of 33 years, Paul Renaud of Green Lake, WI; and her son, Nicholas Renaud of Allenton, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley Petree; and a brother, Tom Petree.
A visitation for Lauree will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI, 54971. A Rosary will take place at 7:00 pm at the funeral home, with Reverend Robert A. Fictum leading the Rosary.
Interment will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
