Laurence Clark

Laurence A. “Tonto” Clark, age 85, of 420 South Woodward St. Brandon, WI, died early Sunday morning, January 8, 2006 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah, WI.

Laurence was born July 23, 1920 in Fairwater, WI, the son of Alvin and Blenda (Bremer) Clark. He attended Ripon High School. Laurence served our country in the Navy from 1942 through 1945; where he was apart of The Fighting Seabees. On February 21, 1948 he married Patricia M. Shea in Vermillion, South Dakota. Tonto was a semi driver and a farmer living most of his life in Ripon, Fairwater and Brandon area.

Laurence is survived by his wife Pat, 5 sons; William (Kathleen) Connor of Nampa, ID, Laurence Lee, Gary (Karen), Bryce (Patti) and Bryan (Michelle) all of Brandon, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandchild.

Visitation for Tonto will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Private funeral and graveside service will be held on Wednesday. Interment will be at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake.
