Lawrence W. Anderson, Sr., age 76, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 1987 at Berlin Memorial Hospital in Berlin, WI.
Lawrence was born on May 26, 1910 at Park Ridge, IL, the son of Otto and Lillian (Boettcher) Anderson. He attended Maine High School and went on to serve our country in the US Army in WWII. He then attend the University of Illinois where he became an architecture and commercial artist. He lived in Green Lake for the past six years. On June 27, 1936, he married Alice McLane in Des Plaines, IA. He was a member of of the Free and Accepted Masons, Bristol Lodge #145.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Alice; one son, Lawrence, Jr. of Genoa City, WI; a daughter, Kathryn Verville of Wausau (Mrs. Martin); three grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth W. Pester of Gracelake, IL.
Visitation for Lawrence will take place from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 1987 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI.
Committal Service for Lawrence will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, May 9, 1987, at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Kenosha Co.
