Lawrence Busha

Lawrence G. Busha, age 78, of 504 Russell Drive, Ripon, died July 31, 1997 at Ripon Medical Center.

He was born July 5, 1919, in Oshkosh, the son of Walter and Laura (LeMieux) Busha. He was educated at St. Peter’s School in Oshkosh and farmed the majority of his life in the Winneconne and Pickett areas before retiring to Ripon. He married the former Mary L. Rogers on April 4, 1945 at St. Mary’s Church in Winneconne. Lawrence is a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon, and a former member of the Elo Grange.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; 1 son, Charles Busha of Holiday, FL; 1 daughter-in-law, Jean of New Port Richey, FL; 3 grandsons, Ronald (Becky) Busha, Christopher Busha and Dallas Busha, all of New Port Richey, FL; 1 great-granddaughter, Felecia; 1 sister, Mary Ellen Neitzke of Clarksville, TN, 1 sister-in-law, Erma Busha of Ripon; 2 brothers-in-law, David Rogers of Columbus, WI and LeRoy Rogers of Ripon; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Joyce Busha, 1 brother, Thomas Busha and his parents.

Mass of Christian Burial for Lawrence Busha will be Monday, August 4, 1997, at 10 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Town of Ripon. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Sunday, August 3 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. A Rosary will be recited at 5 PM Sunday evening.
