Leigh Harrison Williams, age 95, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake.
Leigh was born on September 22, 1917, in Winneconne, WI, the son of Jesse and Mildred (Trowbridge) Williams. On April 21, 1940, he married Helen Loomans in Kentucky. Leigh graduated from Ripon College. He became an analyst for General Motors, working on military contracts.
Survivors include his three sons, Leigh Williams of Brookfield, WI, Stephen (Betty) Williams of New Berlin, WI and Bill (Lori) Williams of Green Lake, WI; six grandchildren, Joel (Kristy) Williams, Russell (Sarah) Williams, Chris Williams, Jennifer (Joe) Lehmann, Joshua and Randi (Mike) Rowley and five great-grandchildren. Leigh was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Helen in 2003 and daughter-in-law, Carol.
Private graveside service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012, at Wedges Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Waupun, WI. Pastor Joshua Pegram will officiate. A memorial is being established.
