Lena Alice Rose, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 28, 1986, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
Lena was born September 5, 1904, in Wimbledon, North Dakota, the daughter of Gustav and Anna (Arduser) Christ. He was educated in Uxbridge, North Dakota. On June 10, 1926, Lena married William Rose Sr. in Waukegan, IL. She was a homemaker. Lena was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom and a member of Green Lake Senior Citizens.
Survivors include his husband, William; one son, James H. Rose of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Donna (Edwin) Peppler of Pickett, WI and Mavis (Ralph) Winebrenner of Milwaukee, WI; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Amanda Grover of Hannaford, North Dakota.
Visitation for Lena will be held Friday, January 31, 1986, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lena will be held on Saturday, February 1, 1986, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Mr. Roger Marquardt officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery in Milwaukee.
