Lena H. Zimmerman, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 26, 1986, at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, WI.
Lena was born November 7, 1908, in Menomonee Falls, WI, the daughter of Louis and Clara (Schlemper) Simson. She was educated in the Redgranite area. Lena married Frank Zimmerman on November 8, 1928 until his passing on October 27, 1946. She worked as a public school teacher, house mother and receptionist at Ripon College and was a checker at DuBois Grocery. Lena was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church of Neilsville.
Survivors include one daughter, Lois Kieser of Neillsville, WI and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.
Visitation for Lena will be held on Thursday, January 30, 1986, from 12 – 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Lena will be held on Thursday, January 30, 1986, at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Forde officiating. Interment will follow at Markesan Cemetery in Markesan.
