Mrs. Lenora Adele Folsom, age 88, formerly of 649 Hamburg St., Ripon, died Tuesday morning, September 23, 2003, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home in Fond du Lac.
She was born December 24, 1914, in Baraboo, a daughter to John H. and Marie (Weckwerth) Miller. She attended Dodge County Schools. On September 3, 1937. she married Richard P. Folsom, and they made their home in Fox Lake before moving to Ripon. Lenora was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, taught Sunday School for 8 years and was a member of the church reading circle. She also belonged to the Ripon Womens Club and was past president of the Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Maureen (Gary) Bestor of North Fond du Lac; granddaughters, Pamela and Jennifer Bestor; nieces and nephews, Marilyn Ninneman of Ripon, Janet Mosier of New York; Glenn Miller of California, Dale Miller of Milwaukee, Phyllis (Francis) Spencer of Brookfield and James Densmoor of Milwaukee; and cousins.
Funeral service for Lenora Folsom will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2003, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Visitation will from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial to Our Saviours United Church of Christ or Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.
