Leona G. Daehn, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 1991, at Sunnyview Village Nursing Home in Princeton, WI.
She was born June 16, 1903, in the Town of Metomen, a daughter of August and Anna (Wittlief) Siedschlag. On September 26, 1923, she married Lorenz Daehn. He passed away November 25, 1959.
Mrs. Daehn had been a housewife. She was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include one son, Edwin (Evelyn) Daehn of Lake Elsinore, CA; four daugthers, Marion (Glenn) Pitzlin of Horicon, Gladys (Warren) Wilkes of Yuma, AZ, Arliss (Gerald) Jahns, and Beverly (Robert) Walker, both of Princeton; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaugther; two brothers, Carl Siedschlag of Fond du Lac and Arthur Siedschlag of St. Paul, MN; and one sister, Margaret Schure of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and one brother.
Friends may call Friday, October 18, 1991, from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of services at Our Saviours United Church of Christ.
Funeral Services for Leona G. Daehn will be held Friday, October 18, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will be in the Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale. A memorial has been established in her name for Our Saviours Church Van Fund.
