Leona Dahlke

Leona R. Dahlke, age 94, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at her home with family by her side.

Leona was born September 21, 1920, in Renville, MN, the daughter of Wallace and Florence (Anklam) Rudolph. She graduated high school and on September 23, 1944, Leona married Arnie Dahlke Sr. at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ. Leona enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading, putting puzzles together and collecting salt and pepper shakers.

Survivors include her son, Arnie (Barb) Dahlke of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Carol Grandt of Ripon and Diane Miller of Longwood, FL; six grandchildren, Terri (Cory), Jerry, Thad (Shannon), Torey (Carolyn), Chris (Krystal) and Becky (Gerry); four great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Madison, Reed and Peyton and three brothers, Harvey (Wilma) of Montello, WI, Carlton (Joyce) of Ripon, WI, and Gary (Patricia) Rudolph of Walton Beach, FL; one sister, Marlene Walkowick of Ripon, WI and two sisters-in-law, Donna Rudolph of Ripon, WI and Elinor Pillsbury of Fox Lake, WI. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Florence Rudolph, husband, Arnie Dahlke Sr.; brothers, Edgar, Norman and Wallace; two sons-in-law, Donald Grandt and Robert Miller; three brothers-in-law, Harry, Milton and Edwin and three sisters-in-law, Serena, Marie and Rachel.

Visitation for Leona will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015, from 10 – 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Leona will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Memorial may be directed to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St. Ripon, WI 54971.
