Leonard E. Deibert
Leonard E. Deibert, age 79, of Ripon, died Wednesday morning, February 13, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
He was born October 3, 1922, in Green Lake, the son of Louis and Amelia (Heckert) Deibert. He received his schooling in Green Lake, and later served in the U.S. Army during WWII. On August 27, 1948, he married Joyce Luchinski, and most of their married life was spent in Ripon. In his early years, Leonard worked on the Green Lake Co. road crew, and then for 37 years had been a welder at Speed Queen in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce E. Deibert of Ripon; son, Dennis Deibert of Ripon; daughter, Diane (Tim) Van Densen of Weyauwega; and three grandchildren, Steven and Kristi Ven Densen and Katy (Lance) Schultz. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
A private family inurnment will be held at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. There will be no visitation.
