Leonard Krueger

Leonard A. Krueger, age 94, of Green Lake, WI, died Monday, April 29, 1996, at Friendship Manor Homes in Green Lake where he had resided the past two weeks.
He was born January 14, 1902, in Germania, the son of Julius and Emma Werner Krueger. He attended school in Germania. On November 10, 1924, he married the former Alfaretta Hall and they made their home in Green Lake. Mr. Krueger had been Green Lake County Register of Deeds from 1940 until 1950. At that time until his retirement, he was an independent Real Estate and Insurance Agent. Mr. Krueger was a member of the Federated Church of Green Lake, member of the Green Lake Board of Supervisors, and the Ripon/Green Lake Masonic Lodge #95. He had lived in Green Lake most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Alfaretta of Friendship Manor Homes; one son, Wayne (Marge) Krueger of Lake Worth, FL; one daughter, Georgia (Jerry) Stellmacher of Fairwater; five grandchildren, Rick, Karin, Maureen, Mark and Gary; two step-grandchildren, Barbara and Richard; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Richard R. Krueger; four brothers and one sister.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 4, 1996, at 12:00 noon at the Federated Church of Green Lake. Reverend James M. Logon will officiate and interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10 am until the time of the service at the church. Memorials will be given to the Federated Church in his name.
