Leonard G. “Bud” Miller, age 78, of Ripon, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2003, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
He was born September 24, 1925, in the Town of Nepeuskun, a son to Robert and Marcella (Lukuski) Miller. He received his schooling in Arcade School in rural Ripon, and later served his country in the Army during WWII. Bud had lived in the Ripon area all of his life, and had been a farm worker until retiring. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon.
Survivors include his brother, William (Bernice) Miller of Ripon; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Miller of Ripon and Carol Miller of Kirksville, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Margaret Boles; two brothers, James & Allen Miller; and one niece, Sandie Bodie.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2003, at Butzin- Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Father Robert A. Fictum officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established in his name.
