Leone Lillian Malson, age 84, of Sunnyview Nursing Home, Princeton, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2002.
Leone was born September 4, 1917 in Rush Lake, a daughter to Stanish and Ella (Schliepp) Hoppa. She was educated in Rush Lake and married Fabian Malson on November 26, 1936 in Berlin. She was employed for 29 years at Ripon Advertisers (Admanco) as a seamstress. Leone was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon, the Ladies Rosary Society, and the 25 Year Club (Advertisers).
Leone will be sadly missed by her daughters; Carol Seibold, Oshkosh and Ellen (David) Gallert, Ripon. Sisters; Alvina O’Kon, Berlin, Violet (Richard) Krell, Winneconne, Gladys (John) Peterson, Oshkosh, Marcella Lipke, Kingston, and Rita (George) Lawrence, Berlin. Special sister-in-law, Ann (Nannie)Podoll of Berlin. Also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; Lisa Zorr of Middleton, WI., Pamela Seibold and her daughter, Charlotte Golliher of Oshkosh, Sutton (William) McGowan and daughter Alexandria of Jacksonville, FL., Gregory Gallert and children Baylee and Brendan of Ripon, Geoffrey (Melissa) Gallert and children Brooke and Kayla of Racine and Gina Gallert of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son-in-law, Stanley Seibold.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2002 from 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service, with Father Robert A. Fictum officiating. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
