Leonette A. Bilderback, age 86, formerly of Ripon, died Thursday, February 5, 2004, at the Markesan Resident Home in Markesan.
She was born June 24, 1917, in Guttenburg, IA, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Voss) Felder. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Guttenburg. On January 24, 1937, she married Darrel Stewart Bilderback who preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Bilderback worked for 35 years at Speed Queen in Ripon. She was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church Parish for many years, and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by her son, Darrel Bilderback, Jr. of Green Lake; 2 daughters, Madonna Witter (Gerald) of Waukegan, IL and Diane Wagner (Cletus) of Quincy, IL; 9 grandchildren, Lisa Rolsing (Steve) of St. Peter, MO, Tracy Venvertloh (Charles) of Quincy, IL, Lori Murphy (James) of Quincy, IL, Michael Wagner (Tabitha) of LaGrange, MO, Troy and Mark Bilderback of Madison, Lee Witter (Amy) of Long Beach, MS, Francis Witter (Amy) of Wheaton, IL, and Sarah Witter of Waukegan, IL; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Darrel; son Jerome; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 10, 2004, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Robert A. Fictum officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Inurnment will be at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon.
