Leroy Schattschneider

LeRoy E. Schattschneider, 88, of North Lawson Drive, Green Lake, died December 3, 1994 at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
LeRoy was born August 31, 1906 in the Town of Ripon, a son of the late Fredrich and Lizzie Dornbrook Schattschneider. On May 31, 1929, he was united in marriage with Jessie Parker. For 39 years, LeRoy has worked at Ripon Foods, much of that time as Plant Superintendent. He is a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Ripon, Phi Delta Theta fraternity and the Ripon-Green Lake Masonic Lodge F&AM No. 95.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Janet Beuthin of Green Lake; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one sister, Viola Penke of Ripon. Preceding him in death were one granddaughter, one brother and a son-in-law.
Services for “Schatty” will be held Wednesday, December 7 at 11:00 am at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Reverend Canon Thomas K. Sewall will officiate. Burial will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
There will be no visitation but the family has established a memorial in Leroy’s name.
