LeRoy D. Theune, age 88, of W1168 Lillian St, Green Lake, died Sunday morning, May 9, 2004, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon after a short stay.
He was born August 6, 1915, in Ripon, the son of Daniel and Minnie (Daane) Theune. He graduated from Brandon High School. On August 23, 1941, he married Evelyn Kenas, and they made their home in the Green Lake area where he had been a farmer and carpenter prior to moving to Green Lake. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include 3 sons, Arden, Daniel, and Donald (Jacqueline) Theune, all of Green Lake; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Florence Bly of Ripon and Eleanor Gysbers of Brandon; and special friend, Vera Swanson of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife in 1982; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
Funeral service for LeRoy D. Theune will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at Immanuel United Methodist Church with Reverend David A. Busker officiating. Visitation will be at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Brandon Cemetery, Brandon. A memorial has been established in his name..
