Leslie Beacon, age 70, of Ripon, passed away on August, 1, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital in Ripon, WI.
Leslie was born on February 16, 1917, in Pickford, MI, the son of Oliver and Lily (Hillock) Beacon. He married Maude Alford on May, 8, 1940. Leslie was owner of Ripon Glass and Paint in Ripon for 25 years. He was a member of Ripon’s Lion Club. Leslie served in the Air Force during WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Maude; sons, Carl and Jack of Ripon, and Steven of Marshall; daughter, Marion Beacon of Marshall; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Clarence of Pickford, MI, and James of Madison Heights, MI; and 3 sisters.
Visitation for Leslie will be held from 3-7:00 pm, on Sunday, August 3, 1987, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Leslie will be at 1:30 pm, on Tuesday, August 5, 1987, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, with Reverend Walter Camp officiating. Interment will be at Donaldson Cemetery in the Town of Bruce.
