Leslie Hageman

Leslie Henry Hageman, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away into the arms of his heavenly Father, on Friday, August 17, 2012, at Markesan Residence Home, in Markesan, WI.

Leslie was born September 3, 1925, in West Rosendale, the son of Henry and Louise (Daehn) Hageman. He attended schools in the Rosendale area and was a self-employed farmer for most of his life. Leslie also drove truck for Joe Schicker. On August 25, 1948, Leslie married his beloved wife, June Pitzlin in Horicon, WI. He was a kind, compassionate, patient man and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Leslie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale, WI.

Survivors include his son, Larry “Fuzzy” (Paula) Hageman; daughter Mary (Nate) Johnston; four grandchildren, Kurt, Kris (Jack) Altwies, Matthew and Cody; two step-grandchildren, Anna and Adam; two great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Savannah; brother, Kenneth Neumann; brother-in-laws, Kenneth (Donna) Pitzlin, John (Barbara) Pitzlin, David (Jo Ellen) Pitzlin; and many nieces and nephews. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife June of 61 years, and his grandson Adam Tyler Johnston.

Visitation for Leslie Hageman will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012, from 4-7 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Monday, August 20, 2012, from 10:00-11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale, 124 S. Main St., Rosendale, WI 54974.

Funeral Service for Leslie Hageman will be held on Monday, August 20, 2012, at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. Pastor Kimberly Stowell will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. Memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church, PO Box 177, Rosendale, WI 54974.
