Leslie Lunde, age 53, of Ripon, WI passed away on Monday, September 8, 1953 at his home.
Leslie was born on January 24, 1900, the son of Peter and Elizabeth (Anderson) Lunde. She was educated at Racine High School and went on to attend Ripon College. Leslie became the bookkeeper for the Berg Brothers Electric Company of Ripon. On June 27, 1928 he married Alvina Lawson in Ripon. Leslie was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Alvina Lawson of Ripon, WI; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Quan of Madison, WI; and a brother, P.J. Lunde of Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Elizabeth Lunde.
Visitation for Leslie will be held from 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 1953 until 1:30 pm on Thursday, September 10, 1953 at the family residence, and again from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, 1953 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Leslie will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, 1953 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett, WI.
